With an impressive level of diversity, ranking number one in engineering degrees awarded to Hispanic and African-American students, NJIT is an excellent representation of a vibrant and diverse workforce that students will one day assimilate into. The university is located in Newark with an impressively quick commute to Manhattan by train.

Students can benefit from the wealth of knowledge and experience held by the esteemed faculty and staff through hands-on experience in research and development as well as the classroom. Dylan Bednarz is one such student who participated in a pharmaceutical research project at the university and greatly appreciated his time spent on the research team. As he stated, “While in this position I gained extremely valuable experience and learned multitudes of operations. This research is critical to the profession I wish to pursue.” The opportunities available to the students at NJIT are available in hopes of putting them ahead in the technology rich environment that many of their fields have become.
